The term “research peptide” covers a wide range of very different molecules. If you're new to the area, the number of names — Retatrutide, BPC-157, GHK-Cu, DSIP — can be hard to place. This guide groups the compounds we stock into their main molecular families as a reference. Everything here is supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only.
Incretin receptor agonists
The most-discussed category in current research. These synthetic peptides act on incretin receptors such as GIP and GLP-1. Tirzepatide is characterised as a dual GIP/GLP-1 agonist, while Retatrutide is described as a triple agonist, adding glucagon-receptor activity. Both are supplied as lyophilised powders.
Repair and reference peptides
This group includes widely-studied sequence fragments. BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide derived from a gastric protein sequence, and TB-500 corresponds to the active region of Thymosin Beta-4. Both are common reference compounds in in-vitro work.
Melanocortin peptides
Melanocortin analogues make up another family. Melanotan 1 and Melanotan 2 are synthetic analogues in this class, and KPV is a tripeptide fragment related to the α-MSH sequence.
Other notable compounds
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide, and DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) is a nonapeptide first isolated in neuroscience research. Both are supplied lyophilised for laboratory study.
A note on handling
