About Cagrilintide

Cagrilintide is a synthetic, long-acting amylin analogue intended for experimental research into amylin receptor-mediated signalling, peptide hormone interactions, and pathways involved in metabolic regulation.

It is a long-acting analogue of the pancreatic hormone amylin, originally developed by Novo Nordisk and investigated as a long-acting research compound. It has been studied for its interaction with amylin and calcitonin receptor pathways, including mechanisms described in the literature around appetite regulation, satiety and metabolic signalling.

Published research into cagrilintide has examined effects on gastric emptying, appetite and food intake, as well as its role in metabolic regulation as a reference compound.
